Conditions for Technical and Commercial Presentations to be held under the 4th Turkish and Regional Composite Industry, Technology and Applications Summit and Forum” or briefly “TURK KOMPOZIT 2019 COMPOSITE SUMMIT” are stated below:

Technical and commercial presentations will start on the afternoon of 10 October 2019 and end 12 October 2019. Technical and commercial presentations will take place in parallel sessions. Technical presentations will be held at the Hisar Hall and commercial presentations will be held at the presentation hall.

TECHNICAL PRESENTATION:

• Application Deadline: 28.06.2019
• Presentation Delivery Date: 29.08.2019
• All applications should be sent to info@kompozit.org.trwith a half page summary.
• Presentations containing product or company advertisements will not be accepted and it is expected that the presentations will be concerned on the technical issues.
• All applications will be evaluated and selected by the Exhibition Executive Committee.
• Each presentation is limited to 30 minutes.
• No sponsorship fee is required for technical presentations.
• English – Turkish translation service will be provided.

COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION:

• Application Deadline: 28.06.2019
• Presentation Delivery Date: 29.08.2019
• All applications should be sent to info@kompozit.org.tr with a half page summary.
• Commercial presentations are organized to promote companies’ products, services, applications, machinery and equipment or other commercial activities that directly concern to the composite industry.
• All applications will be evaluated and accepted by the Exhibition Executive Committee.
• Commercial presentations will take place in 30 minute sessions.
• Commercial presentations are subject to the following sponsorship fees:

A. € 250 for the members of the association who will participate in the exhibition by buying the exhibition space

B. € 400 for companies that are not members of the association and that will participate in the exhibition by buying the exhibition space,

C. € 400 for the companies that are members of association and that will participate in the exhibition only with commercial presentation without buying the exhibition space,

D. € 500 for companies that are not members of the association and that will participate in the exhibition only with commercial presentation without buying the exhibition space.

• English – Turkish simultaneous translation service will be provided.

TURK KOMPOZIT 2019 Composite Summit will bring together all the industry professionals in Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center on October 10-12, 2019.

TURK KOMPOZIT 2019, which is the largest, presentation and exhibition area for the Turkish Composite sector, aims to perform a larger and more effective Summit in terms of participation thanks to its expanded content. One of the significant components of the exhibition this year is that the products and solutions for the defence and aviation industry will be displayed. Composite material technologies provide light materials with high specific strength to the defence and aviation industry. Composite materials offers solutions at every stage such as design, improvement, renovation, maintenance/repair, operation, sustainment etc. with their many advantageous features like forming, strength, and corrosion resistance and so on.

Our country is located in a geography where multi-dimensional conflicts happen. Therefore, it is vital for us to have a powerful army for the future and survival of our country. It is a must to have a strong defence industry standing back of a powerful army. The recent positive developments in our defence industry have been evaluated with the increase in indigenousness and nationality. Our composite industry has a great part in this increase. The developments in composite technology allow us to produce more extensive and economical solutions in order to meet security needs.

The Global Aviation and Defence Industry has maintained its growth trend and started to expand its global supply chain due to increased aircraft production and defence budgets as a result of increased travel demands, new technologies and security threats. In Turkey, the Aviation and Defence sector has achieved a growth above the growth rate of Europe and World. With this characteristic, it also promises new experiences and cooperation opportunities for sector professionals.

TURK KOMPOZIT 2019 Composites Summit Turkey, will bring professionals of the composite industry together on October 10-12 2019 at İstanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center.

This summit is the leading platform for the Turkish Composites Industry for presentations, product showcases, demos, and networking opportunities, and it is now aiming even a more influential Summit realization with wider participation, and an expanded scope. While we are making our preparations full of enthusiasm, we would like to give you some information on the activities of the upcoming event.

TURK KOMPOZIT 2019 Composites Summit to be held at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Hall on 10-12 October, 2019, will not only reveal the achievements of Turkish Composites Industry, but also provide a stage for a number of events. First of all, the participating firms with more than a hundred exhibitions, will be hosting their guests, and engage with them on matters of interest concerning the organizations and entities they represent. As a first, this year’s event will also entail “Composites Career Days”. In the context of Composites Career Days, senior year university students and industry professionals seeking a new job will get the chance to meet with firms in search of qualified employees. Another first in this year’s event will be the “Composites Experience Talks” program, where the doyens of Turkish Composites Industry will be sharing their experiences and advice with the newer members of the community. Start-ups which often feel unable to attend the event will, on this occasion, have the chance to present and promote their operations, products, and aims in the section designated for them. The “Composite Awards” –an established tradition inherited from previous iterations of the event– will now be implemented with a revised format. The Awards will be presented to the worthy members of the industry, during the Cocktail event to be held on the 2nd day of the program. In this event, ground-breaking, innovative and creative examples from the composites industry will be presented at the “Composite Products Planet” section. Moreover, the entities and organizations which take part in the event will be able to present their bulletins and documents to the guests, at the “Media Corner”.
